THE WALER – Australia’s War Horse.12 January 2018
The Army Museum in Fremantle is the coolest place to be this summer – Why?
Because this January you have a unique opportunity to learn all about Australia's world famous war horses described by the British Army as "The finest cavalry mount in the world".
Learn about their stories and the amazing bonds their shared with their riders; uncover the tales of Midnight, Polo, Sandy, Pie and Bill and why they are so much a part of the Light Horse Legends, as were their riders.
Go behind the scenes at the Army Museum with hands on activities which include handling and helping to preserve the artefacts – that's right – you get to touch stuff!!
Three hours of fun, learning and horsing around!
Places strictly limitted to 20.
For ages 7-18. Adults need to purchase their own ticket if they accompany their children
